Baklava

已經在這裏待了太久,大家還是默契十足的假裝什麼事都沒有。:)

今天中午吃完pizza後,Kathy端出一盤不知名的東西,大伙兒話題立刻轉到這道中東甜品上。從發音、拼字,到做法、材料,才發現這其實頗為普遍,主要是用酥皮、果仁加上蜂蜜所做成,上面綠色的點綴是開心果末。Google了半天,這東西在中文叫做「果仁蜜餅」、或是直譯的「拔克拉弗餅」。Wikipeida查到的簡介如下:


Baklava is a rich, sweet pastry found in many cuisines of the Middle East, South Asia, and the Balkans and originating in Ottoman cuisine. It is made of chopped nuts, usually walnuts or pistachios, layered with phyllo pastry, sweetened with sugar or honey syrup. In Turkey, it is particularly associated with the city of Gaziantep.
